TAG-Knowledge and TAG –TDP Strengthen Cooperation in Translation Field

The two specialized courses tackled general and legal translations during which a host of law students attended and participated –Hammad

AMMAN------August 16, 2010---------Strengthening the continuous cooperation between Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society (TAG-Knowledge) and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Translation, Distribution and Publishing (TAG -TDP), two specialized training courses in translation were conducted at TAG-Knowledge with the participation of many students from various universities.

According to Tarek Hammad, TAG-Knowledge executive director, "The two specialized courses tackled general and legal translations during which a host of law students attended and participated."

The General Translation course discussed several key issues related to editing in both languages Arabic and English, linguistic structure and translation for methods and principles.

Meanwhile, Legal Translation tackled contract and agreements translation, insurance and several other topics.

"We are really satisfied with the response the courses received from students and some individuals; we are planning to have more courses in the near future," Hammad said.
