Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International and Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie Signed an Agreement For Granting the International Diploma in IT Skills

Ramallah, January 4th 2016 – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co International, the exclusive agent that grants the International Diploma in IT Skills in the Arab countries has signed a cooperation agreement with Palestine Technical University (Kadoorie) – Tulkarm.
Under the agreement, Palestine Technical University (Kadoorie) will be accredited as an authorized center granting the International Diploma in IT Skills, one of the best professional training programs that is recognized internationally, and by a number of private and semi-governmental organizations, such as the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
The International Diploma in IT Skills Program is to train all segments of the society of all ages on the usage of computer, and to raise awareness of the importance of IT field. It covers all basic computer programs needed in office work (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and the Internet).
The participants are free to choose English or Arabic to study the program. They can also choose to join the regular system (course and exam) or the irregular system (exam only). Those who pass the examinations are granted the International Diploma in IT Skills that is issued by CIE/ Cambridge University and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International.
Accrediting Palestine Technical University as an authorized examination center represents an opportunity for the University students, as well as all people of Tulkarm and the surrounding area, to join the qualifying training courses to be held at the University and to sit to the exams.
In this context, Mr. Jamal Milhem, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International – Ramallah Office's Executive Director stated that TAGOrg is seeking to disseminate e-learning, and to authorize examination centers in various Arab cities. It has already authorized many centers in the Palestinian Governorates and all across the Arab world.
For his part, Dr. Nafeh Assaf, Director of the Entrepreneurship Center for Accounting Sciences at Kadoorie University noted that the agreement comes in line with the University's approach of providing everything needed to raise the capacities of students and academics and to prepare students to meet local and international labor market requirements.
