Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization Holds IT Placement Test for 300 Trainees of "Najmah" Programs

AMMAN - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization- Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge Information Technology Skills Center held an IT placement test for 300 young Jordanian and Syrian trainees targeted by the National Alliances Against Hunger and Malnutrition (Najmah) programs and supported by the World Food Program (WFP).

The test aimed at assessing the trainees’ abilities and determining the appropriate training courses for them according to their results. The training courses include Online Marketing, Community Media, Archiving and File Management as well as Supporting Small-scale Projects.

The test included four sections: computer usage, file management using Microsoft Windows, Word processing using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel worksheets and presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.

The programs aim at developing and improving young peoples' capacities and helping them enrich their local community with the necessary knowledge, in order to keep abreast of the rapid development and progress in the world of communications and information technology. The participants in the project were from Amman and Irbid governorates.
