Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization and MEU Sign IT Cooperation Agreement

MMAN - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) and the Middle East University (MEU) signed a cooperation agreement covering training, teaching and granting certificates in the Information Technology (IT) field.
The agreement was signed by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh and Dr. Dr. Yacoub Nasir al-Din, the MEU Chairman of the Board of Trustees, in the presence of representatives of both parties at TAG-Org headquarters.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his pride and honor to cooperate with the MEU which leads the march of digital academic media underlining the readiness of the Organization to cooperate with the University in the provision of academic programs mainly the Smart Tourism and Digital Marketing programs.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh highlighted the significance of scientific research that is conducted not only by the academia but also by students, and the necessity to connect with global organizations concerned with scientific research referring to the Arab States Research and Education Network (ASREN) which Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh chairs.
ASREN is one of the organizations affiliate to the League of Arab States (LAS) that connects the various research and education institutions in the Arab region and facilitates the processes of scientific research by providing Internet network and the required infrastructure to be also connected to research institutions at a global level.
For his part, Dr. Nasir al-Din said that the University has been established based on a vision that it would become a dedicated educational institution that is open to global education through networking with other international academic universities and institutions granting its students the opportunity to know more about other experiences and gain new skills which would enable them to compete and enhance their chances in the labor market.
He also expressed his honor to cooperate with TAG-Org which represents an educational, scientific and training empire housing an elite of Arab youth and aims at developing and building capacities.
The agreement stipulates on cooperation in education, training and granting certificates through Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International Diploma in IT Skills (TAG-DIT) which comprises seven modules with an exam at the end of each module.
Meanwhile, the University will accredit the certificate as an alternative to the Computer Science (1+2) courses to be issued by the University or through the accredited centers affiliate to Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Academy
