Al-Farouq Charity Association in Irbid visited TAG-Knowledge
Amman, Jordan - A delegation from Al-Farouq Charity Association in Irbid visited the center of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society (TAGKS) to get familiar with the experience of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Group in the field of corporate social responsibility as TAGKS is an initiative of Mr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman and Founder of the Group to honor its social responsibility obligations.
The delegation toured the TAGKS Center and listened to a brief description of the services provided to its members and visitors. The delegation expressed their desire to conclude an agreement of cooperation with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society to establish a similar center in the governorate of Irbid to serve the youth in the age group of 14-25 years. Their wish stemmed out of their appreciation of what they have seen in the Center and the success achieved by TAGKS by providing services to more than 12000 male and female students from various public and private universities in Jordan.
It is noteworthy that Al-Farouq Charity Association is a voluntary social work organization providing service to a specific needy segment of the local community. It was founded late 1991 and registered with the Ministry of Social Development to work on improving the lives of orphaned families and secure decent living for them. The Association practices its activities in the governorate of Irbid and provides social and developmental services and solutions on free of charge or at nominal cost basis. It seeks to perpetuate its experiment using scientific methods and creative ideas and through local and international partnerships.
